A structural steel davit support assembly framing into a W12x19 beam and column configuration, shown in plan and elevation. The davit socket pedestal mounts atop a support plate, stabilized by three-eighths-inch stiffener plates on each side and connected with quarter-inch fillet welds. A half-inch by four-inch plate sized to the beam width plus one inch attaches to the beam flanges with quarter-inch fillet welds. Additional three-eighths-inch stiffener plates reinforce the beam web and column connection.
