Light gauge steel wall studs bear onto a horizontal bottom track sized to match the size and gauge of the wall studs. A two-inch by two-inch angle clip with a gauge matching the stud and a width equal to the stud width less one-half inch connects the track to the jamb. Three number ten sheet metal screws secure each leg of the clip.
