Concrete curbs and pads are reinforced with number four continuous and dowel rebars placed at twelve inches on center. The narrow curb measures between four and eight inches wide with a maximum height of one foot, featuring a continuous number four bar at the top and standard hooks anchored into the supporting deck and fill. The wide curb spans up to sixteen inches wide with a maximum height of one foot and sits on a quarter-inch amplitude roughened joint with number four bars on both sides. A low concrete pad extends up to six inches high with number four reinforcement spaced at twelve inches on center in each direction over a roughened construction joint. One inch clearance is maintained for reinforcing steel throughout all assemblies.
