A structural steel base plate assembly is anchored above a steel embedment featuring a six-inch square bar in Grade 50 steel. Seventy-six three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch welded headed studs spaced at six inches each side tie the assembly into the concrete substrate. Five-eighths-inch fillet welds connect the base plate and square bar components typically. Threaded anchor rods with double nuts secure the upper plate across a leveled grout space.
