A hollow structural section measuring HSS 4x4x3/8 is positioned adjacent to a tilt-up concrete panel specified per plan. The structural steel tube connects back to an embed plate designated as embed plate EP-8 per the plate key. Continuous angles sized per framing details attach to both sides of the HSS member. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch size secure the assembly at the specified locations.
