A structural steel beam supports a concrete slab poured over a metal floor deck, tied together with shear stud anchors sized and spaced per plan and composite beam notes. A beam web stiffener is welded to the supporting steel member at the intersection. The intersecting steel beam connects via a bolted framing angle or shear tab connection, with member sizes and quantities determined by structural plans.
