A wide flange beam frames into a wide flange column, secured by a bolted shear tab connection. The wide flange beam size is specified per plan and connects to the column flange with an eight-bolt single plate shear connection. A maximum offset dimension of one foot zero inches is maintained from the column centerline. Below the column, a structural member connects via a base plate with anchor bolts.
