A four-inch diameter sleeve passes through a concrete foundation wall with surrounding reinforcing steel. Two number four ties run on each side of the opening. Number four diagonal bars are placed on each side as shown. Two number four bars measuring thirty-six inches long run across the top and bottom. A note directs that for larger penetrations, the project engineer must be contacted.
