An L6x4x3/8 by 1'-6" long angle is anchored to the underside of a concrete on metal deck with two 1/2-inch diameter concrete screws placed in the low flutes with a 2-inch minimum embedment. A bottom flange brace extends from this angle to a supporting steel beam, with the brace-to-beam connection detailed per plan. A quarter-inch fillet weld is specified near side and far side for the brace connection to the angle. Additional information is referenced on sheet N/S5.01.
