A custom steel plate bucket sits atop the column per plan to support the beam per plan. The assembly features a one-quarter-inch seat plate and one-quarter-inch side plates welded with one-quarter-inch fillet welds. Three SDS by two-and-a-half-inch screws are fastened to each side for a total of six per beam. Where beams occur on both sides, buckets are provided on each side; otherwise, a single web stiffener is provided per detail 2/S-4.2.
