L7x4 veneer support angles span horizontally and connect with a 3/8-inch by 8-inch plate secured by two 5/8-inch diameter machine bolts. The angle features 1 1/2-inch long horizontal slotted holes to allow for movement. A 1/4-inch fillet weld secures the plate. The connection is centered on a 1/2-inch veneer joint with a 6-inch spacing.
