A structural steel framing layout provides support for a roof davit socket pedestal offset at a corner column. W10x12 wide flange structural steel beams frame into the corner with additional W10x12 framing members utilized unless otherwise noted. A three-quarter inch thick by twelve-inch square minimum steel plate supports the davit socket pedestal at the intersection of the framing members. Fillet welds of three-eighths inch size connect the assembly elements, maintaining a one-inch clearance where specified. Secondary beam connections are sized per structural engineering plans.
