The cold-formed steel stud wall is anchored to the metal deck via a 16-gauge continuous track, which is fastened with two number 12 Tek screws. The metal deck is secured to the supporting steel beam with a 3/16-inch fillet weld, applied in a 2-inch weld length at 12-inch on-center spacing. The bottom of deck elevation is determined per the structural plan. The wall assembly is positioned 1 foot from the beam centerline.
