A stair kicker assembly frames into a steel beam running parallel to a metal deck. The stair contractor provides a kicker angle measuring L3x3x1/4" minimum when eccentricity e exceeds one inch, with locations coordinated across all trades. The angle remains in full contact with the deck rib. A stiffener plate of one-quarter inch minimum thickness is welded to the beam web. A stair hanger is provided by the stair contractor.
