An anchor bolt connection passes through a base plate with a one-eighth-inch oversized hole and a two-inch non-shrink grout layer above the top of the footing. The threaded rod or headed anchor bolt features a one-foot-zero-inch embedment into the concrete footing, terminating with a single nut at the bottom and an option to provide a headed bolt. A single nut with a standard plate washer is positioned above and below the base plate. A minimum of three inches of clear cover is maintained from the bottom of the footing where occurs.
