A built-up beam connects to an embed plate in a concrete wall utilizing reinforcing bars extended to the face of the wall. Six number six rebar measuring five feet four inches extend to the face of the wall at the similar condition. Two number eight rebar measuring twelve feet are centered on the embed plate. A three-eighths inch fillet weld with a six inch minimum is specified at the embedded connection. Vertical spacing includes three inches typical and four inches typical dimensions.
