A structural steel beam connects to a concrete tilt-up wall panel using a three-quarter-inch embed plate whose depth matches the beam depth with a fourteen-inch minimum. The embed plate features eight three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch Nelson studs for beams up to fourteen inches deep, or twelve studs for deeper beams, bent as required to maintain clear cover. A shear plate sized per the connection schedule bolts to the beam web. At panel joint conditions where the beam web falls within six inches of the panel edge, a one-half-inch tie plate matches the embed plate height less one-half inch.
