A six-inch concrete slab is poured over a structural steel deck, terminating at a six-inch typical edge curb. The slab is reinforced with number four rebar spaced at twelve inches on center each way, terminating with ninety-degree standard hooks at the slab ends. Number four dowels are placed at twelve inches on center, with hooks turned parallel to the bottom flute direction where required. Expanded polystyrene filler is installed between walls per specifications.
