A structural connection for a seven and one-quarter inch thick concrete tilt-up panel reinforced with number five bars at eighteen inches on center each way bearing on a concrete footing. The panel base is supported by an embed angle measuring five by three and one-half by five-sixteenths by five inches equipped with two one-half-inch diameter by twenty-four-inch deformed bar anchors and one three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed stud anchor on each side of the panel. An attachment angle measuring four by three by three-eighths by four inches long connects to a half-inch by six by twelve-inch embed plate with two three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed stud anchors on each side using five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. A one-and-one-half-inch layer of non-shrink grout is placed beneath the panel base. After panel erection and connection welding, all steel plates and angles are coated with a one-eighth-inch minimum layer of bituminous cement.
