This structural steel connection features wide-flange beams framing into a wide-flange column with a one-sided moment configuration. The beam flanges connect to the column via complete-joint-penetration welds with backup bars and run-off tabs removed, while the web connects through a bolted shear plate. Continuity plates are provided at the column web aligned with the beam flanges. Erection bolts are included as required for field assembly, and headed studs are welded to the top flange for composite action with the concrete floor slab.
