An aluminum rectangular tube connects to a one-half-inch aluminum gusset plate welded with quarter-inch fillet welds. The gusset plate ties into an aluminum I-section and an aluminum channel section sized per plan. Fillet welds secure the gusset plate to the structural members with specified clearances and minimum distances.
