A wide flange beam supports a composite deck assembly that terminates at an elevator shaft wall. A three-eighths by six-inch by two-foot plate anchors into the concrete slab using two five-eighths-inch diameter by four-inch Titen HD anchors. Two angles sized three by five by three-eighths inches connect via a single three-quarter-inch diameter A307 through bolt centered in vertical two-and-a-half-inch long slotted holes. Nuts are finger-tightened with threads deformed to allow vertical movement. A bent plate finishes the deck edge.
