A hollowcore panel slab bears on a concrete wall with a low-shrink concrete enclosure and cell fill. The wall features a roughened construction joint with a quarter-inch high amplitude uniform relief. Vertical reinforcement inside the wall ties into the assembly with two continuous number five bars and two continuous number four bars utilizing standard skewed hooks. Back-to-back number four dowels spaced at four feet on center anchor the slab into the cell fill, and the manufacturer cuts the slab as required.
