A square reinforced concrete grade beam measures two feet by two feet. The concrete profile is reinforced with eight number eight longitudinal bars developed into the footing at each end. Transverse reinforcement consists of number four ties spaced at twelve inches on center. The top of the beam aligns with the top of the footing.
