A wide flange beam per plan connects to a glued laminated timber beam per plan using a WT5x24.5 tee shape. A 3x nailer fastens to the top flange of the beam. Four 1/2-inch diameter lag bolts with a 4-inch minimum penetration secure the connection through the web and tee flange. Fasteners conform to the typical non-frame beam connection schedule and details.
