This assembly connects a perpendicular cold-formed metal stud to a primary metal stud using a 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch steel angle clip that is 5 inches long. The connection is secured with two 1/2 inch diameter machine bolts at each stud, spaced at 3 inches on center, typical. The metal studs are sized per the project elevations.
