Horizontal angle bracing connects to a wide-flange beam and a hollow structural section column. The wide-flange beam connection features a three-eighths-inch gusset plate welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld and secured with two five-eighths-inch diameter A325-N bolts in standard holes. The hollow structural section column connection utilizes a three-eighths-by-seven-by-seven-inch gusset plate welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld and similarly fastened using two five-eighths-inch diameter A325-N bolts in standard holes. Edge distances and spacing dimensions are detailed for bolt layouts and erection clearances.
