This plan detail shows a steel column anchored to a foundation pocket with a Grade 50 base plate measuring two and one-half inches thick. The assembly is secured by nineteen two-inch diameter F1554 Grade 36 anchor bolts equipped with three-quarter by four by four-inch washers and double nuts. A gusset plate sized per the buckling restrained brace manufacturer connects to the column and is omitted at similar conditions. The footing pocket is formed to match the base plate layout, detailed with specific edge distances and center-line dimensions.
