Utility trenches must be backfilled and compacted in accordance with the geotechnical report requirements. Excavation for pipe trenches is prohibited within the restricted boundary parallel to the footing. The 1'-6" clearance zone establishes the safe distance for utility placement relative to the structural foundation. Sloped excavation limits maintain structural soil support and prevent undermining of the footing.
