A concrete truck dock retaining wall comprises a twelve-inch wide concrete wall reinforced with number five bars at twelve inches on center each way on each face. The wall sits atop a continuous concrete footing with number six longitudinal bars top and bottom, and number five ties at eight inches on center. A one and one-half inch square by one-eighth inch guard rail post is anchored into a two and one-half inch square by one-quarter inch thick by zero-foot eight-inch sleeve cast into the top of the wall. A wall drain is coordinated with civil and landscape drawings, and a three-quarter inch chamfer is detailed at the top outside corner. At the contractor's option, grade beam reinforcement and footing reinforcement may be lapped together.
