A post-tensioned concrete slab bears on a continuous concrete wall below with two layers of building paper or bond breaker separating the concrete elements. An embedded steel plate measuring three-eighths by six inches by two feet zero inches with four three-quarter-inch diameter by seven-inch headed welded studs at one foot zero inches on center anchors the assembly into the concrete wall. A continuous L4x4x1/4 structural steel angle is welded to the embed plate with a five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld, specified to be welded after sixty days. The contractor has the option to split the post-tensioned embed plate into two plates and center the headed welded studs on the angle. Wall reinforcement consists of number seven deformed bar anchors at six inches on center, staggered where angle embeds occur on each side.
