A continuous L6x4x5/16 steel ledger angle is anchored with three-quarter-inch diameter stud anchors spaced at sixteen inches on center. A four-by-six number two Douglas Fir framing member is supported in a Simpson hanger spaced at four feet on center and connected with two seven-eighth-inch diameter through-bolts. An additional angle L2-one-half-by-two-by-one-quarter each side is tied with straps and pins per nailing notes. A continuous number five reinforcing bar runs horizontally, and a steel ledger is provided at the corner with bent plates used where the angle is other than ninety degrees.
