Where the low flute is not fully supported with a two-inch minimum bearing, provide a ten-gauge plate to cover two full low flutes with a length as required. Remove the flute at D1 to provide space for studs. Edge connections are installed per schedule using mechanical fasteners. A one-eighth-inch fillet weld secures the assembly.
