A continuous L5x3x3/16 angle supports a metal roof deck or galvanized grating bearing against a reinforced concrete wall. The angle is secured with a 3/8-inch by 4-inch by 0-foot 8-inch plate anchored by two 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch head stud anchors spaced at 24 inches on center. Horizontal and vertical reinforcement bars are detailed within the concrete wall. A 1/4-inch fillet weld is specified at 12 inches on center for similar conditions where the deck occurs on only one side.
