A one-inch clearance is required between a circular penetration and adjacent cold-formed steel studs within a bottom track assembly. Steel studs are sized per the project schedule, and track anchors are installed per the structural notes. The penetration is centered between the studs, maintaining a minimum one-inch offset from the edge of the opening to the face of each adjacent stud.
