This assembly connects a buckling restrained brace to a structural steel beam and column frame at a designated work point. A full-height gusset plate is integrated into the connection, with stiffener plates provided on each side of the gusset to match the width and thickness of the beam flange. The full-height gusset and its attachment are designed by CoreBrace. Additional stiffener plates are installed on the column as required by the manufacturer to accommodate the brace forces.
