A structural connection details a concrete slab bearing against a Level D concrete wall with an embedded steel assembly. The embed assembly consists of a five-eighths-inch by twelve-inch by ten-inch embed plate welded with four three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed studs, flanked by L6x3x3/4 angles nine inches long on each side. These angles are secured with three-eighths-inch fillet welds on three sides. Two continuous number five reinforcing bars run each face of the wall, with wall reinforcement omitted elsewhere for clarity. The angle and embed assembly is spaced at ten feet on center along the wall.
