A concrete slab-on-grade, a concrete pour strip, and a concrete tilt-up wall panel interface at a concrete footing. The slab features a construction joint and extends reinforcing into the pour strip with number four dowels at eighteen inches on center, maintaining a one and three-quarter inch clear dimension. The tilt-up panel connects to the footing with non-shrine grout and embedded anchor hardware, with foundation insulation rated at R-six placed vertically against the footing edge. A twenty-four inch minimum lap splice is provided for the reinforcement, and the contractor has the option to make the panel connection to the footing from the inside.
