A steel beam supports a metal roof deck framed against a supporting steel beam member. A web stiffener is provided per general structural notes on the supporting column or beam web. A one-half-inch offset dimension is maintained from the beam centerline. Roof edge overhangs greater than twelve inches require reference to detail E5 on sheet S701.
