A three-eighths-inch bent plate bears on the structural steel roof deck and supporting steel beam at the perimeter edge. The bent plate is secured with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld, continuous at each end with a four-to-twelve minimum spacing. The overhang extends a maximum of two feet with a minimum two-inch field-installed adjustment per architectural drawings.
