A davit socket pedestal is supported by a structural steel beam and column offset assembly. Three-eighths-inch thick stiffener plates are welded to the beam flanges and webs with one-quarter-inch fillet welds. Additional one-half-inch by four-inch plates are provided on each side, secured with one-quarter-inch fillet welds. A three-quarter-inch by twelve-inch square minimum base plate anchors the davit socket pedestal to the structural framing.
