A wide flange beam supports a half-inch thick connection plate welded to its bottom flange with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. A number two-and-a-half clevis attaches to the plate using a three-quarter-inch diameter pin. A threaded hanger rod connects into the clevis, extending downward to a turnbuckle.
