A metal roof deck bears on a steel joist and steel beam with a web stiffener beneath. A continuous L6x4x5/16 ledger angle attaches to a hollow structural section steel girt and supports the edge of the assembly. Expansion joint material specified by architecture fills the gap between the deck edge and the full height insulated metal panel. A three-sixteenths inch fillet weld with twelve-inch spacing connects the ledger angle assembly.
