A post-tensioned concrete beam is cast monolithic with a concrete floor slab. The beam features top and bottom main reinforcing bars, additional top and bottom reinforcement, continuous #5 reinforcement, and ties spaced per the beam schedule. Post-tensioning tendons run through the slab and drop to a low point within the beam profile. Collector reinforcement is detailed per the shear wall elevation. Clearances include two inches of cover at the bottom and specific vertical and horizontal dimensional limits.
