A buckling-restrained brace connection at a steel column and roof beam intersection. A slotted gusset plate is welded to the framing to receive the buckling-restrained brace, with the gusset and attachment designed by the manufacturer. Stiffener plates are provided on the near side and far side of the beam and column as required. Critical work points are established at the intersection of the framing centerlines.
