Standard bolted single-plate framing connections for both wide-flange or hollow structural section columns and wide-flange beam-to-beam intersections. The connection plate thickness, bolt diameter, and bolt quantity are sized per the structural schedule, with a minimum edge distance of two and three-quarter inches from the face of the web. Beam flanges are coped with a minimum one and three-quarter inch clearance where required to clear supporting elements. Fillet welds secure the connection plate according to schedule specifications. Short slotted holes may be used at all column connections as an optional configuration.
