A concrete topping slab over a corrugated metal deck is secured using two Hilti X-U shot pins at a four-inch gauge with a one-inch embedment into the low flute alongside a fourteen-gauge clip. A half-inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ2 anchor with a two-and-a-half-inch minimum embedment connects to a coupling nut, supporting a maximum load of three hundred pounds at lightweight concrete or four hundred pounds at normal-weight concrete at a two-foot minimum spacing. A five-eighth-inch diameter Blue Banger Hanger BBMD embedded in the concrete supports up to five hundred pounds at a three-foot center-to-center minimum spacing. A Unistrut P1000 channel is screwed to the metal deck to support loads up to seventy-five pounds at a two-foot center-to-center minimum spacing.
