A hollow structural section wind girt connects to a structural steel column web at Level 2. A shelf angle supports the wind girt with a minimum two-inch bearing clearance. The connection is secured using three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds applied on three sides. The structural column and wind girt sizes are sized per plan.
