Pipe and conduit penetrations pass through the middle third of a concrete footing, detailing specific reinforcing stirrup layouts and clear spacing requirements. One additional stirrup is required on each side of the sleeve, with typical stirrups omitted at the pipe or conduit location. Maximum outside sleeve diameter is twelve inches nominal. Edge distances and spacing dimensions are established based on footing depth and sleeve diameters.
