Welded wire fabric sheets are positioned in flat sheets set one inch below the top of the concrete slab using standard 6/6-W2.0xW2.0 wire unless otherwise noted. Wire fabric is lapped tip-to-tip consisting of one mesh plus two-inch ends, with laps positioned at the midspan of the deck slab typically. Sections A-A and B-B illustrate the specific overlapping sequence and layering arrangement for adjacent flat sheets.
